Little things from the weekend. 

Spencer had his first busted lip this weekend… he is a rumble tumble boy, through and through. He was running after a ball down the concrete driveway at his grandparents house and took a bad spill, right on his mouth. I wasn’t there, but his poor dad had to deal with the aftermath. 

The rest of the weekend, he kept touching his lip and saying “ouch… hill.” 

He’s also been stringing together little phrases. He has such a big vocabulary and it’s crazy how well he can communicate with us now. He was making me laugh at the park this morning because he kept saying “cross bridge!” whenever he saw a bridge. He also woke up from his nap this afternoon and said “poop. Huuuge poop.” 😂

He’s completely obsessed with Hot Wheels now and carries one in each hand everywhere he goes. He tries to sleep with them too. Jordan likes to take him to the toy section to pick out new Hot Wheels when we go to the store. 

I took him with me to work in the toddler class at church this morning, because he usually loves it and plays a lot. Well, it was a bad morning in early childhood and almost every baby and toddler was crying or crabby. I ended up holding Spenny in one arm, another little boy in my other arm, and rocking them for 40 minutes. Spencer kept glaring at the other baby and was so offended whenever his head got too close to touching him. He kept pushing his head and poking him in the face while he was sleeping.
