Hard to believe he's about to turn 18 months old already! There is no sweeter sound to my ears than his laughter, his baby babble, and his sweet voice saying "momma! Momma!" I love watching him grow up. I love taking him to the park and to the store. I love how he says "hi"… Continue reading The boy who made me “Momma.”

I see you, baby.
I'm having a hard time lately accepting that my son is basically no longer a baby. I am trying desperately to hold onto whatever baby-ness I can, while also being so excited to see how he is learning and growing. I feel like I blinked and he was a walking, talking little boy. Horses say "nenene,"… Continue reading 15 months.

It was just a fun evening as a family, and some much needed… Continue reading My Valentines.

Monday, Monday.Â
Usually people hate Mondays - I love them. It's the start of a new week. I rarely work on Mondays, so it means I get to spend the whole day with my munchkin. Today has been a normal day, and it may seem boring to some, but this is the life I've always wanted. Spencer… Continue reading Monday, Monday.Â
Sweet innocence.
One of the things I love so much about babies and little children is how innocent they are. How simple and sweet. Spencer helps keep me grounded. When I feel overwhelmed or disappointed or scared or cynical, all it takes is a smile from him to make my whole world right again. He's so uncomplicated… Continue reading Sweet innocence.
