Husband appreciation ❤️

I love the way Spencer looks forward to seeing his daddy when he wakes up. (Usually I fall asleep in Spencer’s room at some point in the night so he always wakes up with me.) As soon as his feet hit the floor, he runs to our bedroom yelling Daddy. After Jordan takes his shower and gets dressed, he carries Spencer downstairs and makes a bowl of cereal. He has done this every day since Spencer was a couple months old.

Spencer stands in front of Jordan prancing on his feet and yelling “see see! See see!” for bites of cereal. Throughout the day, he will pick up things that are Jordan’s saying Daddy.

As soon as Jordan gets home from work, he will wrestle with Spencer or read him some books. When Spencer was still tiny, Jordan would always scoop him up and tell him about his day after work.

He gives Spencer his bubble baths and takes him to the park every night. When we were all sick a few weeks ago, he spent hours scrubbing the carpets and cleaning up after Spencer. He’s always patient with him and never acts like he has more important things to do than spend time with his boy.

Being a mother has been amazing, but watching my husband grow as a father is just as incredible.
