I love food, Spencer loves food, why not do a post about food? Here are Spen’s favorite foods at 15 months old.
Scrambled eggs. Lord help me if I don’t make his eggs in the morning. He knows the skillet I use, the spray for the pan, and will stand at the baby gate hollering (no other word for it) until those eggs are on his tray.
Fresh fruit. He looooves sliced fruit, especially bananas, strawberries, mandarin oranges, and pineapple. I’m sure he would love other things too and I really need to expand his fruit selection.
Peanut butter sandwiches. I spread creamy peanut butter on a multigrain sandwich thin and cut it up for him. It’s always messy but he loves it.
Tuna salad/chicken salad. He always steals a few bites when I’m eating it.
Veggie crackers. I get these organic toddler crackers and he goes crazy over them.
Spaghetti/ravioli. Always a huge mess. Always a big hit.
Mac & cheese. 🙄 naturally.
Veggie soup. I make veggie soup and set his aside before I add the seasoning, so he doesn’t get the salt. I love making a big crockpot full because then we get tons of leftovers.
Green bean casserole. He doesn’t like just green beans and will toss them to the floor. He LOVES green bean casserole.
Meat! Pretty much any kind of meat, except ground turkey. He turns his nose up at ground turkey and throws it on the floor.

I didn’t really incorporate actual meals into his feeding schedule until he turned a year old, so I’m still learning how to put together toddler meals. Luckily, Spencer is a foodie and he seems to love just about everything, with the exception of broccoli and most sweets.
